BX-23 60\" MMM questions
I have a question regarding the 60" MMM. The manual I have shows the part number as RCK60B-22BX, although, since I had to request this manual after receipt of the BX-23, I'm not 100% sure I got the right manual. I haven't looked at the actual part number on the mower itself. and the manual I have seems reasonably close to what I have.
1st question - I spent quite a bit of time trying to adjust the mower so that, when lowered, it is reasonably level. When raised, however, it is about 2 or three inches lower on the left hand side than on the right hand side. Is this normal, or have I messed up the adjustment?
2nd question - on page 5 of the mower manual, on the bottom half of the page in a diagram labeled G-5616A, it shows a flat piece of metal, roughly 3' long, 1 or 2 inches wide, attached to the bottom of the leading edge of the mower. Apart from collecting a mess of grass when mowing a damp lawn, what purpose does this serve?
Thanks in advance
