Hi all its been a while since I have been here. Its been about a year since I got my Bx 23 and this thing is one great tractor. I installed a cruise control kit today it was no easy job. (Not for the meak and mild type) What a pain in the ****!!! But boy was it worth it!! I have 6 acres to mow what a relief not to have my foot on the hst pedal the whole time. If any of you need the part number its bx7340 and cost about $80.00. I have done alot to this tractor, tooth bar, rops mounted lights, arm rest added to seat, water proof 12 volt outlet. A few thing im working on is the sag on the one side of the mmm. I have figured out the cause but can not fix till the end of the season. Also Im going to add a rear work light using the wiring provided and Im going to make an arearator.

If you have any questions regaurding the cruise control I will be happy to help. I can do it with my eyes closed now. Oh and also if anyone knows where I can get aluminum wheels please let me know. Bye all.

For the front wheels you should be able to find aluminum wheels available - they are the same size that is used on a lot of golf carts and there is a huge market for stuff like that for those people who mod their golf carts. The rear wheels might be a little harder - not sure if there are any comparable sizes in aluminum wheels for the rears.

I certainly can't answer your where question, but Jim probably did... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Now I have a question of my own...aluminum...WHY? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

(I get the feeling there was an implied /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif at the end of your post though...)

Really - chrome is the only way to go, and nope - powder coat won't do either.
Anyone wanna see my new Trans Am hood decal fer my fine pimp daddy BX?
(They removed my pic of my ahum - "addition" to the rear of the tractor by the PTO - lets just say you could see them at any local 4h fair - and they allow families there too)
Golly, must have been the color (orange) that was offensive.
