Kubota B21 TLB
The Kubota model program for European countries is quite different from USA. And the pricing is akward! The TLB-concept seems to be totally absent even if the base models are the same. I consider private import of a BX 23 TLB with mower (new or low hours) from USA to Sweden. Any suggestions for how to proceed ? Mission impossible???

I tried to purchase a European grass catcher system for my BX and found that it was impossible to do, even though they are manufactured here in the states, but not sold here. Depending on your Countries regulations, you could import a unit, but it might be difficult. You will need to find an exporter that is familiar with moving machinery. You also have the option of doing this with a Canadian company since the BX23 is also sold there. I have noticed that the European and UK models come only as the BX2200 and are available in both 2 & 4 wheel drive. It might be worth contacting Kubota in your country and see if there are plans to import the BX23 any time soon. In the picture that I have posted, you will note that the steering wheel is different from the North American model and I don't know what that is sticking out on the left side. Looks like it might be a mirror.

Hi Swede. This is Norway....

I have also looked into the matter. I'm going to buy one as well, hopefully early next spring. Even with tax and freight from USA to Norway/Sweden it will come out as a quite nicely priced tractor compared to prices over here. Parts should not be a problem at all, except for the backhoe.

Importer in Norway / Sweden (it's the same one..) will certainly not have anything to do with your tractor when it comes to warranty. I have also asked them about if they will start to sell it here, but I haven't got a proper answer. The price will be high anyway.

Be aware of that the $ is expected to go down a little bit compared to our currency this winter.

I have found Carver equipment to be nice and trustworthy. Find a dealer near where you will ship it from (New York - Baltimore) and take a long-weekend there when it's time to buy. Test out your rig and make sure that things are looked over better than normally as it's not coming back for service.

I plan to buy a bx-23 with snow-blower, boxblade, filled tires, block-heater and with industrial tires.

Sure look forward to that.....

Ps! Shipping from harbor to harbor (in my case Oslo) was around 1600$.

Good luck! Keep us foreigners informed!

Don't forget that there is a port in Boston MA.... Possibly you two can get together and purchase together and ship together... 2 should fit in one container quite well..
