Hi Swede. This is Norway....
I have also looked into the matter. I'm going to buy one as well, hopefully early next spring. Even with tax and freight from USA to Norway/Sweden it will come out as a quite nicely priced tractor compared to prices over here. Parts should not be a problem at all, except for the backhoe.
Importer in Norway / Sweden (it's the same one..) will certainly not have anything to do with your tractor when it comes to warranty. I have also asked them about if they will start to sell it here, but I haven't got a proper answer. The price will be high anyway.
Be aware of that the $ is expected to go down a little bit compared to our currency this winter.
I have found Carver equipment to be nice and trustworthy. Find a dealer near where you will ship it from (New York - Baltimore) and take a long-weekend there when it's time to buy. Test out your rig and make sure that things are looked over better than normally as it's not coming back for service.
I plan to buy a bx-23 with snow-blower, boxblade, filled tires, block-heater and with industrial tires.
Sure look forward to that.....
Ps! Shipping from harbor to harbor (in my case Oslo) was around 1600$.
Good luck! Keep us foreigners informed!
