Howdy All,

Over the years I have put battery switches on every piece of equipment or toy that I own.

Even though I have never had a problem with a dead battery on the BX, I just had to do it.

NAPA $11, an hour of time on a dreary January day with adult beverage in tow is all it took.

I always switch the ground or Negative side of the battery, Safer and no sparks if one is working in the area.

I just extended the present battery cable and changed its end, Bought a 16 inch Cable at NAPA with the right ends and was done.

I also put a guard over it for obvious protection from the elements and strikes that may turn it off.

There are not a whole lot of choices in finding a home for the switch but this seems as good as it will get.

It adds another layer of protection if a bad guy happens to have a key.

Thanks and later 20150131_174109.jpg20150131_174132.jpg20150131_174141.jpg

Hmmmm Never had a problem with a dead battery. However, it DOES add a layer of protection against theft.
