BX 25 - Throttle not staying in high/fast position

Hi all,

Recently it seems to be having an issue with my throttle level on my BX 25. I place the throttle level in the fast/full position and it idles at around 3300 rpm and then seconds later the levers starts to ease up and move to about 2700 RPM. It will not stay on the high throttle. Is it just a matter of tightening the nut under cover where the lever connects to the cable?

no there is a metal clamp near the dashboard holding down the throttle cable that just needs a little finessing to tighten up to hold cable better.

After over 200 hrs my BX2660 throttle lever started doing that. As I recall there was a nut under the dash that solved the problem for me. Cheers, Mike
