bx front mount blower

I have the front mount snowblower installed on my bx2660. I have greased and oiled everything, it seems loud compared to my walk behind blower. Is this normal?

It is normal and you get used to it. The blower quiets down somewhat when you start pulling snow through it. I would check the allen screws along with any nuts and bolts after a few uses. When my BX 2750 blower was new, I found things loosened up quickly and had to be re-tightened. The bolts that attach the quick connect frame to the blower were amazingly loose after a couple of snowfalls. I used loctite blue on most everything and have not had the problem since.
