BX Hard Cab retro

I was wondering if anyone had a BX Cab not mounted to their tractor that would be willing to give me some measurements or photos. I have a cozy cab from an old Bolens tractor, a welder, torch, saws etc so I can't see why this could be modified to work. I would rather not reinvent the wheel so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Cozy Cab from a Bolens HT 20 and considered doing the same thing. After doing a lot of measuring, and contemplating, I decided that it just wasn't worth the effort. Everything about the Bolens cab was wrong and it would have taken more effort to make it work than it was worth. I sold my cab and am putting that money toward the purchase of a BX cab at some time in the future.

Thanks Junkman, a new cab runs around 3k so I can do a lot of choping for that kind of change. My tractor was identical to the HT-20. Out of curiousity where dod you sell your cab and how much did you get for it? Mine is in awesome shape so if I weigh in a good down payment maybe a new cab would be possible.

Mine was in OK shape, but not the best. It sold for $750 last fall and I had posted it on one of the Bolens sites. I saw that the hard cab by Cozy Cab sold for $2235. auction.... I have seen the soft side Curtis cab and it looks like a quality product, and at under $2000 including the heater, it should be a good buy. I like the idea of the soft side for the convenience of removal vs. the hard cab, that can be very confining in warm weather. I personally don't care for the Cozy cab, because the glass is tempered and curved. They are discontinuing the BX cabs, and in the future, you might not be able to get replacement glass for it. That is the nice thing about the other brands. Most, if not all, use flat glass that can be cut for replacement. Junk....
