BX23
Not really, just wishful thinking. Bit the bullet yesterday on a new (2004) BX23.

The BX2200 will have to go, I would have traded it in but I'm willing to wait it out for a better price.

The BX23 is already dirtier than the old 2200. I had to nose it around in the dirt some yesterday evening when I got back with it. Haven't used the hoe yet, hoping to get to several stumps soon. I'm sure I'll have question on a technique for doing this.

This board has been great for me. Thanks for the input evrybody!!

Perhaps if you close the door and give them some "quality time" together you'll get a nice little T-series to add to the family! It's a shame to break up such a good lookin' pair.

Id watch out, you may decide to keep them both
I figured, when i get a compact ill sell all the mowers
i now have a compact, 2 ride on mowers and 5 lawnmowers, on 2/3 of an acre /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

There must be a 12"-16" difference in height between those ROPS! And as I suspected the seat sits higher on the 23 too.

When I was shopp'n, I had thought the steering wheel fit was a little better on the 2230 than the 23 but I wrote it off as I was also checking out the B7510 and as far as fit, I liked it best of the 3. Course don't get me wrong, I ain't complaining at-tall, I believe I'll be a-keeping my BX23 /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So if you were to keep both, which one would be his and which one would be hers?

Hers would be whichever one she wants. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Of course mine would be the first one out of the barn. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

For mowing, I will miss that smaller ROPS with the obstructions that I have. I did a lot of head turning to watch out with it. Too bad I couldn't swap it out. Ill learn though, hopefully not the hard way. Maybe the 60" deck will get me closer in to obstacles to keep the ROPS out of trouble.

The 23 does seem to sit higher than the 2200. I guess the new seat and different assembly makes the difference.

Have you had your better half get on and drive one of them? If you do, my guess is she will opt to keep one for her, and let you have one too.

The deck off the 23 will work on the 2200 just fine, so you have a mowing machine and a diggin machine
