I am about 20 mins from you and we keep our BX2660 in an unheated garage. No issues with the cold. I generally start it, bring the rpms up to ~1300, lift the blade, pull forward out of the garage and brush off the cars. Once I finish with that, the engine is warmed and the tranny has been fine.
