Mowing BX mower belt wobble?

We just took delivery of a new BX2200 to replace a 16 yr old Kubota G4200. The old Kubota was dependable problem free, but the new one!!! We love it.
One thing I noticed was the long belt on the 60" mower looks likes it wobbles when engaged. Is this normal or should it be tightened?

It's normal, mine wobbles a bit too. I've just about 50 hours on it and don't notice any appreciable wear on it...

BTW, isn't the tractor great??? I can't believe some of the stuff I've been doing with it...

I think it's just because the rotation of some of the parts is slightly eccentric under load. A bit like some of the contributors here you might say /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.

Also a new BX owner - great machine - and my mower belt wobbles slightly too.

Hi All,
My BX2200 has just turned 54 hours and I love it.The only troubles have been the sticking HST pedal,and the ctr blade on the mower(60") was hitting the baffle.The dealer just wacked the baffle with a hammer.The tolerance is still very close 1/16 " ,but it cuts like a champ.I also have the snow blower and the grass catcher both work great.

Does the grass catcher ever clog up? Will it pick up leaves, twigs and other lawn debris very well? How does it do with wet grass?

I'm interested in the BX bagger too. Aside from what Roybuck asked, does the blower in the bagger mulch leaves etc.? How about removing the hose and using it to pick up leaves from beds etc..?

Gerryma, You say you have the grass catcher. Is this the one that is powered off the mower deck? If so, is it easy to disengage and/or remove so the mower can be used without the catcher unit?
