I'm looking for a Rear Blade for my BX. I bought a Land Pride 0560 from my local dealer but it did fit right. It seemed the top link is too long and I couldnt get the unit level. The dealer tells me the LP 1560 is too big for the BX. I'm not sure I beleive him but I dont want to argue with him. Does anybody know a way to fit the 0560 to the BX or know a good RB for the BX? Thanks

I have a Worksaver DC-5. Nothing fancy, but it works well for moving gravel around the driveway after a heavy rain. I haven't tried it on snow yet. I think you need to get creative when turning the blade around as it will hit the rear tires on the spin. It's real close to making it so there may be an easier way than disconnecting it from the tractor. You can see the unit on Worksaver's website: www.worksaver.com

Good luck

I have the RB1560 on my BX2200 (I can turn it 360 degrees w/o hitting anything). I haven't used it with snow yet but used it (along with the box blade and rake) for a driveway grading and stoning project so I believe snow will not present a problem either. No problems whatsoever, in fact, because of the angle usually set to windrow materials I would think (IMO) the BX could handle to 1572 as well. The nice thing about the RB1560 is that it uses the same "arbor" (lack of a better word) as the landscape rake (a LR1560) and you just exchange the blade with the rake. Saves a few bucks. I also have skidshoes (just got them) from LandPride for the blade as I have stone, asphalt and block portions on my driveways. Hope this info helps.

I have the RB1560 on my BX also. No problems. Used it so far to remove some deep ruts left by the well-drilling truck in my back yard. Couldn't justify the box-blade as I don't have much landscaping to do and this has served me well.

I also have the skid shoes and will be putting them on the blade shortly ready for the coming winter.

How much roughly did the RB1560 Landpride backblades cost.

Thanks.

I think they are about $300 - mine was bundled as part of the deal with the BX.

King Kutter has produced several implements sized specifically for the BX series. The horizontal distance across the hitch pins, the height of the mast, and the distance from the ground up to the hitch pins have all been reduced from standard Cat I. You can see photos on the Carver Website under implements for the BX.

I have a 60" RB from Tractor Supply Co. It is one of the few implements I would buy from them based on thier quality record. I paid $175.00 and it works greats. Turns 360 deg.

Are you bolting or welding the shoes? Did you get them from a dealer or LP?

I pickup an RB1572 over the weekend from another dealer. It works great, and turns 360. It had some rust but the dealer gave me a can of LP biege spray paint, I guess I cant beat it for $305. The other dealer charged me 325 for the RB0560!
