BX replacement seat

If anyone is still debating on whether to replace the seat on their BX. Let me be another one to say it's worth it. I had pretty much decided to just use what came on my BX23. I happened to be in the dealer for the first time since last summer to get some filters. I asked about the replacement seat program and the salseman said yes they were still doing it but it would cost 40 to 50 bucks instead of the 20 that they were charging originally as thier cost had gone up. Well I decided to try it and ran in there today and got the replacement and wow it's a world of difference. No more slidng off the front and much improved lateral support.
When I asked how much the parts guy said "nothing it's an exchange"
I didn't argue. If they ask later I will pay. Worst case I got to try it for free.

I had mine replaced last fall free of charge. I was a bit conserned when I saw that the rubber covering wasn't as thick, but no problem, It mad it trough winter ok.

I've got a message to call back my dealer tomorrow -- I had been in earlier this week asking about the replacement seat (they knew nothing about it, which isn't surprising about this outfit). Good for me to know when I call them back that other dealers are still participating.

I am not sure exactly but I thought it was B and BX series.
Cant hurt to call your dealer. Or better yet stop in. (that can be dangerous, I have been dreaming about a diesel ztr since I went in there).

Your BX1500 should be covered. The hard part will be convincing your dealer to deal with you. I got lucky -- my dealer knew nothing about the seat exchange but checked into it and has a seat coming in for me for $50. Didn't even mention exchanging my old seat -- I know I can something useful to do with it. Kudos to Kubota and those dealers that are willing to work with us!
