I have had my BX to the dealer twice for the sticking hydro pedal and they cannot fix it. Both times Kubota was involved in directing the dealer on how to fix the problem. The hydro still sticks.
In discussions with Kubota (written & verbal), they insist that it is merely an adjustment and they deny that it is a common problem with the BX.
My observation and experience is that Kubota is not quick to step up to the plate when they have design, quality or dealership issues.
Another example.... last spring someone on TBN pointed out their MMM was not properly lubed when they took delivery. I checked my mower and it was not lubed properly either. I talked to my dealer and they said that they were not aware that the MMM spindles were not filled at the factory. I sent Kubota an Email with photos and documentation, (not nasty) asking if they would extend the warranty on my MMM for one cutting season since the mower was not lubed properly by Kubota or by the dealer. They never responded to my Email. When I didn't receive a response, I called but they never returned my call.
