BX Toothbar on a B2x20?...

Simple question - will a 48 inch BX Toothbar fit a 49 inch B2x20 Bucket? I have ATI with very very little use and if / when I upgrade Tractors I was wondering if the 1 inch difference would be a problem if I was to use 1/2 inch stand offs.

I wouldn't think that using 1/2" spacers on each side would be any problem at all. I would be more concerned how it matches up with the cutting edge of the bucket.

Had a NewHolland TC30. Got a toothbar from dealer was supposed to fit, but was about an inch and half less wide than the bucket. Shimmed it out with three or four washers on each side. Worked like a champ.

Traded the TC30 in for a Kubota L3400. Wouldn't ya know. Tooth bar was about quarter inch too wide to fit in the bucket. Had to reweld the mounting ears inboard a bit.

Never did find the tooth bar much help in digging. Take it off when there is serious dirt work to be done. But it's the greatest thing for pushing cut brush around, any kind of work in brush or trash, popping out small stumps, hooking a chain on to pull up fence posts, etc., etc.
