I fabricated a quick mount for this before winter and I could not be happier with the tractor pushing 8+ inches of wet heavy snow. Right now the swivel is manual but I plan to hard the rams over the summer

I would mount it on the loader arms myself but Great job!

I have gone back and forth on mounting it to the FEL. This setup works well since I am mostly pushing hard and "impacting" piles of ice and snow. Rather than mount a plow to the FEL, I am leaning towards making a snow pusher box with a QA (something I don't have to worry about swapping hydraulics. I picked up this plow for $150 on Craigslist and I could not be happier with how well it has worked

I did the same thing with a Western plow with hydraulic angle. I made the mount so that I could easily switch from plow to FEL if I needed to really push the banks back. Biggest problem was front sliding side ways with the blade angled.

I like the mounting better than on the FEL arms.

We have a plow at work that uses a QA plate. It IS nice to be able to use the FEL arms to stack up the snow but sideway forces on the FEL arms concerns me - especially when the blade is angled.

Check out a thread on here by ASGAR. I copied his design for my L3400 and I can push a 7.5' wide meyers plow no problem with the chains on.

i picked up plow blade for 250 (old Artic blad in nice shape). Welded it to a jig to slide on my forks and worked good... but these frames will bend with contact...thankfully they bend and not parts on my machine. Fabbing up new A-Arm tabs that hold the pivot bolt. And i didn't bother with the hydraulics. (left them there tack welded to the frame so they stay out of the way.). I keep my eyes open for bigger ones...can't wait to find a monster v-plow to put on it.. she can handle pretty much anything now..but with a big V i'll plow in 20min instead of 40 :) cheers... your plow looks great. Its amazing what you can do with the small machines.

I noticed you don't have chains,
how does it handle when pushing the snow?
Do you think your machine could push 8 inches of snow on a long 150 foot driveway without issues.
Looks good.
