Has anybody replaced the low fuel warning light with a regular fuel gauge on a BX1500?

Looked at the BX2200 and BX1500 tanks and sensors and they are totally different the BX1500 is just a sensor stuck into a grommet and the BX2200 is a full automotive style sending unit. So you would need to cut a big hole in the tank and somehow mount the flange of the sending unit to the tank. Not sure if the BX2200 tank would fit in the same place and just trade them.

On my G2160 I just fill the tank up at the end of every day, it only has the light.

Early BXs had history of fuel guages not being very reliable. I think most of us just did as David did and filled after or before using to ensure we didn't run out. Most of my Kubotas got/get an hour per gallon so that also cued me as to my possible need.
