Ain't she a beauty. The thing is huge! I looked at it when I was at the dealer before they dropped it off and said "can that little tractor even lift that thing?" The dealer uses one at the shop and said "not only can it lift it, but it can blow 24" of snow (medium density) 50' at full speed in reverse (low gear). It's gunna make quick work of my 400' drive. By the way, I plowed last year and the snow piles by my garage were over 9' high in northern Vermont. It was a crazy winter, but I love plowing and blowing. This thing is gunna do me right.

msocko3,
It's called a Meteor made by Forage King. The corporate name seems to be MK Martin Enterprises Inc. R.R.4 Elmira, Ontario N3B 2Z3 Tel: 519-664-2752

I have been told that it is the best blower for the money. It was only $1150 here in Vermont (The alternative is the Kubota for just under $3000...no thanks). It's all there, as they say. It's actually a lot lighter than it looks....285 pounds.

Kubmech, It was inexpensive ($1150) and the alternative was nearly $3000 from Kubota. I'll deal with sitting side saddle for a half hour or less. It won't be a problem for me. I cruised around in reverse for awhile and it wasn't bad at all.

RPM, I bogged a couple of times here and there, but not too bad and not for too long. I don't think it'll be too bad (I hope)
Thanks.

I can't believe how potent that little thing is. I'm throughly impressed; love the size and power. Awesome purchase. My wife even loves it!

Jim,

I went the $3000 Kubota route -- I too, have a 420 foot drive. If I had known the 3ph blower was available for so much less I certainly would have given it a great deal of consideration. But I'm a happy camper -- I fly through the snow blowing and actually look forward to snowfalls.

Re: Bogging down

The only thing you might want to check is your fluid levels. Just a couple of times shouldn't have hurt. Put it in Turtle and have at it!
