Does anybody know of a full cage for a Kubota BX2200. I'm getting all crippled up and am having problems getting on and off my tractor and it would be helpfull if there was such a thing as a full cage that I could use to pull myself up on and off the tractor with. I fell embarassed asking this on here but I've searched the web and have got nothing. I don't want just a canopy becasue that wouldn't be strong enough to hold my wieght.
Thanks.

A guy named Henro built a head and hood protector for his 2910. Here's the LINK to what he did, to give you some ideas.

http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...b2910-head-guard-finished.html?highlight=hood

Sorry, I couldn't find how to shorten the link. If it doesn't come through, go to SEARCH and put Henro in the author and Head Guard in the keywords to come up with the link.

Welcome to the site. Ask any question you like. edit: Ooops, looked at your profile, you ain't a new guy, but welcome BACK!

Be aware that drilling holes in your ROPS is a Kubota NO-NO, but a lot of people do it for lights and stuff. It's not an issue unless / until you or someone rolls your bota and the rops fails.

If hand holds are all you need, I'd look at attaching some to the loader arm bracket and rops. That would give you two...........

Have fun,
Ron

Thanks for the link to the idea of a head guard. That's a lot closer to what I'm interested in making for my little Kubota. don't need the head protection as much as i need something to pull myself up on the tractor but at least it's a start. Thanks for the suggestion of a hand hold too.
No I'm not a new member I've been here a long time as another user name too but that's another story.
I've been able to solve all of my other concerns with this little Kubota. I have 37 acres and it does everything I want to do on it. My drive is a little over a quater mile long and it does a great job of clearing it in the winter with the front snowblower.
Thanks again,
Tim

I teach school. We used to have this young fellow who was paraplegic in an electric wheelchair. It was cool to see him race around in that thing and play games with the other kids at P.E. Anyways, when he needed to go to the bathroom, there was this device that looked like an engine hoist with a seat harness suspended from the end. It would lift him out of the wheelchair and then pivot him around to the facility. I don't know much more about it than that, but such a contraption might be worth looking into if things continue to progress in the future and you still want to be able to get on the tractor.

Don't know if this helps or not, but I thought it worth mentioning just in case.
