BX2200 Front axle seal replacement

I know that there was a factory defect on the early 2200's with the front axle seals. I had mine fixed once under warranty, once again last year, and now it looks as though it is leaking again.
Is this normal? And is the seal replacement a bear? I'll be luck to scrape up the $$ for the seals, let alone take it to the dealer (preferred method).

Mine has a slow leak on the vertical seal between the axle itself and the wheel unit, too slow to fix, kinda just wet. Which seal is actually leaking? What did it cost last time? My actual axle seals appear dry.. I wasn't aware that was (another) common BX problem...

These are the top seals on either side of the center pivot point.

Mine is leaky also. I can not find a free service manual. I have the parts diagram so I guess I will use that as a reference. Mine is leaking bad.

Consider the tried and true grease fix, or a slurry of grease and 90 W , makes it thicker and less likely to. Flow thru notoriously problem seals
