Yes there is a fix for the fuel gauge, the trouble is the sending unit in the tank, mine suffered the same problem and my dealer replaced mine. The other things I know of are a recall on some early BX's for brittle plastic on the fuel junction block under the frame. Also the lift arms and top link of the three point hitch have also been updated on early versions. The best thing to do is contact the dealer you bought the machine from and have them check if the serial # of your machine falls into the range of machines affected by these problems.
