Oil & Fuel BX2200 Fuel Gauge

My BX2200 has 18hr. on it and the fuel gauge only goes to about 1/2 full and its empty. I found this out after it ran out of fuel. Has anyone else had any problems with this.

Ping, There is a known problem with some of the fuel gauges not reading correctly. When talking to my dealer about the known BX fuel leak, he asked me if i had any problems with my fuel gauge not reading properly because he knew of defects. He told me that the angle of the float was not correct. I would call your dealer and get it fixed. Good luck!!

Luckily, I didn't have the problem on mine. My BX showed almost empty at 10 hours, and it took 4 3/4 gallons, and now shows full as it should. My dealer is pretty careful about such things, so maybe he nipped it in the bud before I got it 2 weeks ago...

Hi Guys
Just got my fuel gauge repaired today- it would read 3/4 of a tank as it's lowest reading but if I filled it, it went to full. As fuel was used it would show correct readings until I used below 3/4 of a tank.
