Yes, less than 5 minutes, on a BX2200 that I will have owned for 8 years next month. The MMM was already off, and come to think of it, the bracket was a bit wiggley, which did make it a whole lot more easy to manuver the filter and hoses around. But, I have removed fuel filters many times on cars and knew what tools and techniques would be needed. I am not understanding where all the difficulty might be coming from.
I get my MMM off in < 5 min. and back on in < 5 min. The more you do it, the more easily the metal pieces slip together and apart, and the better your technique becomes. Additionally, doing it on a regular basis prevents freeez-up/seizing of pins, etc. As far as the lift arms, they would be well out of the way if the proceedure in the manual is followed and they are retracted. As mentioned below, I have a dolly whith prevents the need for anti-scalp wheel rotation and makes reallignment a snap, and also a smooth concrete floor. In other places, I have described in great detail how to get a quick technique down (it rarely takes me more than 5 seconds to recouple the mid-PTO) along with pics of my MMM dolly. If you want links, please ask.
