Can anyone give me info on operating MMM with 3PT attachment. Is there a way to lock the 3PT at top position while mowing so that you do not have to remove 3pt implements while using mmm.

Not really, maybe a chain. Most guys don't mow with the 3-point loaded and the FEL installed and most dirt work is done with the MMM removed. J

If you do a search you'll see a lengthy thread on this subject. Basically there are tabs located on the rear part of the frame by the upper lift arms. What you do is remove the upper part of the lift arm turn buckle and pin in in the tab. Now you can operate the MMM. I'm not sure how much weight these tabs can take so you may need to chain up the lower lift arms, but you'll still need to disconnect the upper lift arms from the lower arms. It really wasn't designed to work this way. It designed to allow you to operate a 3-point attachment without needing to take off the mower. I personally don't see the big deal about taking off the 3-point attachment. I can attach my tiller in like 2 minutes and loader in like 3 minutes.

If you look in your operators guide, it shows and discusses the use of the tabs. As it says in the manual, you shouldn't pin up an implement and operate your tractor over rough terrain. Personally, I don't see how anyone, without the use of a jack, could lift the implement up and pin it at the same time. If you're going to go through all that, I'd just take it off.

I agree with taking the 3ph item off the machine before mowing. I didn't like to mess around with the turnbuckles because they were a royal pain.....however, I switched over to the use of the pin system sway control and life is a liot easier. My dealer ordered the parts and with a small amount of modification I made the parts from a 2710 fit my 2200.
