Kubota BX2200
Had my BX2200 in the shop for a hydraulic leak. Technician was having problems with neutral safety switch, so I told him to go ahead and replace it. When I got the tractor back, it would turn off in neutral & stay running in gear when I got off the seat. Found out he had pulled the wires from the plug, why I don't know, but he obviously wired the plug back together incorrectly. ( Really aggravated that he sent the tractor back to me in this condition )
There are 24 combinations for wiring this thing back together, I've gone through about 10 of them with no luck. Can someone help me save some time & please look at their plug going into the NSS & tell me the correct wiring for the plug ? Should be a white, black , blue & 2 Yellow ( in same pin ) wires.
Appreciate the help.
Thanks

If you don't want to go back to the dealer for the repair why not have the "technician" provide you the appropriate pages and information from the service manual?

It's not a Kubota dealer, ( have tried them , they're service is terrible ) the service manager tried to get drawings from a couple other Kubota dealerships, but had no luck. Kubota seems to be very secretive with their information. We've both looked on line, to no avail. I worked on that thing most of the day, trying all combinations, but none of them seem to work. I don't know what the problem is. Pulled the dash looking for shorts, broken wires, seat switches, engine compartment, etc.
Very frustrating. Doesn't seem like this should be a hard problem to solve.

I have the BX2200 WSM but don't own the tractor.

First, according to the WSM there is no pure yellow wire in the harness. See attached page.

Second, the wiring diagram only shows 2 safety switches wired in series using Black with white stripe wires.

Third, the description in the WSM for the safety switch says there are three switches.

If you could post a photo of the connector you are dealing with and where it plugs in then maybe an intelligent comment can be made.

Maybe this connector is somewhere other than the NSS. To be stopping the tractor the engine stop solenoid and its timer must be involved.

Thanks for your help Dave, I appreciate it.
The connector plugs into the NSS, the switch is located under the right rear fender, behind & below the gear select lever which activates the NSS. The wires I described are the wires that are there. the wires look new, but the shop insists they did not replace them. I think what might have happened is that when they initially plugged the wires into the plug, they fried something, which could be the solenoid you mentioned ?nss connector.jpg

I am thinking there is no clutch safety switch. On my BX2230, there is the seat switch and the one the OP is talking about in post 5. Jon

Did you get this fixed? I just went out and looked at my bx2200 and I don't have a safety switch on the seat. I can get off the seat with the mmm running. If I can help, let me know.
