Price Check BX2200 price

I am looking at a BX2200 with a loader and 60" mow deck. I have been quoted prices from $11,650 from dealers 800 miles away my local dealer will sell it to me for $12,100 is this a good deal? Is the BX2200 a good machine? I am also looking at a JD 4100 and a Cub Cadet 7205. Some one give me some insight on what to buy. Kubota is about $2000-2500 less than similarly equiped JD & Cub but they look much bigger and like they could do alot more work.

The other tractors are good looking machines too. For myself I wish I could take features from all of them and pay the BX price but it just doesn't work that way. I'd like a tachometer, adjustable lower links, depth control, comfortable seat, and why not, an air-conditioned cab. But I ended up with the BX-2200 with a 60" mid-mount mower, FEL, and 60" Befco rear blade. It has been a real work horse for me and amazed my brother-in-law which perhaps is the sweetest part of the whole deal. You can pay more, and maybe get more, but I sleep good at night. I didn't need a .308 Remington to hunt squirrel, did you?

I looked at the same machines you are, and a few more. I settled on the BX2200, FEL and 60" MMM for 12,100. For my needs, it gave me the most tractor for the money. Good luck and let us know what you went with.

I am looking at the same package and have five prices in the Houston area ranging from $11,975 to $12,650 and the dealer closest to me will match the lowest price. The price you were quoted sounds pretty good.
