Hi group,
I have a BX2200 bought new in 2001 and it finally needs a starter. Can I assume that it is a fairly easy replacement? Also, suggestions for best place to order from?

No idea on how easy the replacement may be but try Messicks's Kubota bx2200 Parts to order the part. Not sure if they are the cheapest but they have the starter listed on their website.
