I have had this little bad boy for almost a month and already have 36 hours on it! We mow 5 acres and are building a new house. The things you can find to do with the FEL are endless.....The Woods box blade is proving to be very handy as a counterbalance and is moving lots of dirt for the flower beds and just general land leveling. I do not know how anyone that owns any amount of property could do without one of these things.
Of course we have to keep in mind that it is a tractor and that the grease gun needs to be handy (mainly the MMM) and that proper maintenance is a must for the extended life of the machine. My point is that there is work involved in owning one of these. But it is fun maintenance/work.
Count me tickled in SW Arkansas.

I'm jealous - I have had my BX200 since April and I have had several days of helping out the neighbors. But I have not had a chance to go tearing up my yard yet!! I may have to take a day off of work just for tooling around my yard - I WANT TRACTOR WORK!!

It has been fun at the neighbors, but after all, don't we all want to see how we can improve our places?

I have only had the box blade on once... Was working along the creek bank in wet sand..... Seemed to dig in too much. Need to do it again when it's dry. I wish the BX2200 had one thing though. A stop on the drop down to get the same height evey time. Even the old ferguson had that for the 3 pt. Maybe my box blade is too heavy for my 2200. Still learning to work with this fine machine...... did you adjust the down speed knob to see if it helped?

What model of box blade did you purchase?

It's called "Competitor" and made by Modern out of Texas. It's gray and 4' wide.......

Yes, I played with the speed knob and adjusted the Top Link.

I still wish there was a stop on the down lever. Maybe I will try somthing as simple as a bolt/washer and wing nut in the groove below the lever

I will try it again one of these days.......

Actually, there is a "stop" on the drop down. Under the seat you'll find a gold colored rod with a spring and a small bolt to hold the spring in place. Adjust where on the rod the bolt stops the spring and you've adjusted the drop down stop. I use this all the time to set the stop for my rotary mower.

Well, I will just have to look for that. Thanks Bill
