I originally posted this at the end of an existing thread under the Kubota Owning/Operating Forum and did not get any response. So I thought I would try this forum since it is more of a Hydraulics question.
I know this is a little early to be asking questions about snow removal, but I'm just looking to plan ahead. I just purchased a used front blade for my bx2230. It did not come with any manuals. It is the manual angle/hyd lift.
I assume there is a way to use the existing joystick to control the blade however the joystick valve stays with the FEL when it is removed.
I was thinking of purchasing a separate hydralic control valve and fabricating a mount that I could attach after removing the FEL. While I'm at it, I thought I might get a 2 spool valve and also add an additional hydraulic cylinder to control the blade angle.
Would this be the correct valve to use?
