bx2230 hour meter

My hour meter stopped working (don't think it really ever worked correctly) I removed it from the dash and checked to make sure the two wires were connected which the were. My dealer said to bring it in and they would take care of it, but without a trailer not so easy. Any ideas ?

Electric hour meters break all the time. The problem is almost certainly the meter, not the tractor. Take the meter in, not the whole tractor. You can test the meter with a 9 volt battery to make sure.

Leave the tractor at home when you take the meter to the dealer.
