Looking to buy a BX2230 , 60MMM and FEL have been quoted 12800 without taxes (live in PA) is this OK , seem s a bit high

When I bought my bx1500 earlier this month with 48" mmm and FEL, I was right on the "good" price. Based on the website, it looks to me like 12,800 for your outfit may be a little high, but prices in Balto/Phila may be a little higher than Central PA, and the 2230 may command a little more markup than a 1500. I know this much, I got two quotes and one was higher by $600. If you can, it may be worth shopping a little for price. The dealer I bought from wasn't the least bit hesitant to match the lower quote I got from another local dealer. All I had to do was ask. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Bought mine in Jan 2004 for 12,300. With increased steel prices I don't think this is bad at all.

Have him throw in the 50 hour service or a block heater or something and close the deal.
