Has anyone here had experience with road grading attachments like the TerraBond SpreaderGrader or the VersaPro? They seem quite expensive ($1,600) as compared to a box blade, although the expense may be worth it for an inexperienced operator like me.

My road and parking areas are mixed-size base-rock put in by an expert with cat, grader and vibratory Bomag roller 5 years ago. With careful use, the roadway is in good shape, but developing wheel tracks that collect water and will certainly degrade if not corrected. There is about 1,200 feet of steep roadway.

Also has anyone used the TerraBond or any other dust suppression chemicals, and what was your experience?

Thanks,

I haven't but a box blade is really easy for taking out irregularities such as tracks or potholes in a gravel road. Basically you just drive back and forth a fre times and you are done. Plus you can use the boxblade for other things.

Why don't you rent or borrow one and give it a try? I think you'd like it.
