Are the hyrdaulic fittings on the boom cylinders threaded into the cylinder or welded? I bent mine so now the coupling is rubbing the cylinder. I tried to remove the fitting, but it would not budge, and did not put so much pressure on it that I would snap it off if welded. Can I just bend it straight or let it be?

Also, it started leaking from the top of the 90deg coupling. I noticed an allen key head and thus learned that there is a cap on it. I removed it, retightened and all appears good for now. Anything I need to be concerned about?

I would leave it alone, and only deal with it if and when it gets to be a problem. Any type of repair that you attempt might be worse than the problem as it exists today.
