I purchased the American Solutions grapple a few months ago, but just got around to installing this week. First, I would like to thank Bernie and his thread which made things a little clearer for my install. If anyone is thinking about this addition and worried about the price, let me assure you that this is a well thought out and quality piece of equipment. The instructions were a little vague, or I just might be a little dense. The only minor problem I ran into was changing the hoses after I hooked them up backwards.
Like another poster, I did not want to install the diverter button on the dash board and chose to move it to the floor near the brake hold lever. I find it is easy to use my left foot to push down to operate which still leaves one hand for the steering wheel.
I will have to learn how to post pictures of this and some other projects I've completed on the BX23.
