BX23 Project...the Honey Do list.....Hmmmm

Well, i get home from work today and am greeted to a completely re-arranged house. Nothing odd or bad...especially since I am not the furniture mover /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif, but I see little orange flags in front of the house..????

Well my wife decided to have a Feng Shuei (sp.??) consultant come over to help the "Career corner" of the house.

So...the project...remove 2 large 10 foot diamter evergreen bushes in front of the house, move some large bush perenials, and rip out about 35 feet of concrete sidewalk /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif to prepare the front for a new paver stone walkway. Gee....do you think the backhoe and loader are going to be needed??? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I of course lamented the "Work" as I certainly can;t let on that I will enjoy completeing her pet project.

I knew that backhoe would come in handy....

I think I may let her get an estimate for someone else to do it, then show her how much we saved by getting the BX23.

Sounds like your gonna be a little busy there. Make sure you don't complain /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif to much as she may make you stop /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif. Don't forget the photos /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. G

By all means do so! I think it's a great idea for one to know how much is being saved. I'm sure that with all I've been able to do around my place in the last four months since buying my Kioti, I've saved at LEAST, half the cost of the tractor in saved charges. Not to mention the other work I've done away from home. John

Great thinking BotaGuy! Every time I buy a new toy, I quickly show her how it saved us money. I bought a large drill press a while back, and and made her a thread holder for her sewing room. It was a 2' long 2x2, and I drilled 20 3/8" holes for pegs. I said "See honey, that drill press already paid for itself!" Well, I got "the look" for that comment. Women! They just don't understand the concept of "return on investment".

I have one word to say about Feng Shui: <font color="red"> SSSSSSSSssssssssssssssss!!! </font>

The first bush took about 30 minutes.....and I used a small chainsaw first. The second took about 5 minutes, and two or three pulls with the backhoe....the first removed 1/2 of the bush!!
