2005 or so BX23....

OE tires/wheels were Ag/Angled bar:
front 18 8.5 8
rear 26 12 12

I want turfs for lawn care, from reading it seems current supply is same except larger front wheel
front 18 8.5 10
rear 26 12 12

dealer is offering turfs in older sizes....
front 18 8.5 8
rear 26 12 12

Should I pass?
Will replacement tires be easier/harder to find in repeating the older 'odd' size?
Or will they just ride better with more sidewall?

TIA

What's your location, I know of a set of turf tires and wheels in Ky that is available. I'm sure the fronts are 18X8.5X8, seems they are going to the 10" wheel although the tire diameters are the same.

18x8.50-8 is a more common size then the 18x8.50-10 so finding tires won't be a problem.
I'm not sure if they went to the 10in wheel because they needed more clearance for the front hubs or just wanted to reduce the sidewall.

I wouldn't think twice about the original size.

I happen to be in Richmond.
Turned out they had the 10 set with turfs in 'stock' and a good price.
So, problem quickly solved, drove on pavement to get fuel and air, accidentally in 4WD, never 'wrapped up'.
Rode so much smoother!
