had an intersting thing happen to me today my bx brothers might want to hear about. my little buddy wouldnt start all of a sudden in the middle of a job. could not even hear the solenoid click. so I got to looking and a chucnk of hard dirt had gotten stuck in front of the nutural safety start switch and moved it back a bit. I noticed i had to mess with the speed selector all day to get it to start. so i got home and washed the thing down and took a tool and pushed the switch foreward just a bit, boom starts everytime. just has 2 tiny screws holding it on, i just put a little pressure on the back side of the switch and got it where it needs to be. this dirt comes from the out riggers when you raise them up and they are full of dirt, it drops on the operators deck and then bounces ontop of the trans. i need to figure out some sort of deflector to keep the dirt off the trans ill post pics when i do. i thimk just some vented lexan would work good and be cheep of not even one of those signs you see made out of corigated plastic on the side of the road. cheep and easy to work with.
