Hi all,
I soon hope to be a BX2350 owner. I have a question on the 3PT. I currently have a Woods brush cutter and a rear blade that I have been using on my 9N. Will these fit on the BX2350? I looked at a BX2350 today but did not have a tape measure with me to see how far apart the 3PT arms on the BX2350 spread apart.

Thanks for any and all information.
What a great website! I spent a number of hours this last week getting educated on Kubota and in particular the BX2350. Thanks to all for their input.

Larry it should with the Class 1 hitch. I have a friend with a old 9N and I'm almost certain he told me it was a Category 1.
Maximum spread is right at 28". What size is your woods cutter? If it's Category 1 under 54" you should be okay for weight and PTO otuput at 17 HP. My BX2230 will pull my Bush Hog SQ600 around but just doesn't have the HP or weight up front to be effective besides you are scratching the heck out of the tractor in brush that high anyway.
You made a great investment in the new BX2350. It will serve you for years.

My dealer told me that there are 2 different Catagory 1 hitches, a "0" width, and a "1" width. The BX comes with a "0" width which is narrower. That is the main reason I bought a B7610HSD because I want to be able to rent implements, and he said you would have a hard time finding implements to rent that fit a BX.

Hi OB1,

I really like your name! A true Kabota lover for sure. Well my Woods cutter is a five footer so it maybe a bit much for the 2350. However my 9N which probably hasn't put out 17 HP for a long time worked well with it. Guess I can give it a try and see what happens. OB1 this website is just the cats meow! I found out a ton of information over the last week about Kubota in general along with specific information on the BX 2350. Thanks to you and all the other people who help us novices sort out all the information.
Thanks again for your help!

Your 9N has more weight to it than the BX. I think the 5 foot may be to heavy for your BX and vibate the heck out your lighter BX tractor. You may also find the PTO shaft to be too long for the BX so be careful lifting the 3 point hitch if the shaft is too long without room for the proper overlap when raising the cutter. I used a 5 foot cutter behind a bigger B2410 and felt it was oversized for it. I downsized to 4 foot which was a good fit. I now have a BX23 and would not try a 5 foot cutter with it.

Hi Nik,
Thanks for the input. I have been trying to find my bill of sale for the Woods cutter to see what model and how much it weighs. It at times was a bit more than the 9N liked so the BX wouldn't have a chance with it.
Thanks for confirming that! Guess I need to get the cutting torch out and hack a foot or so off it or look for a four footer.
This group is really great for us new comers!
Thanks Larry

Larry, just to add I have a BX2230 and most cat 1 attachments will work. The limation is lift height most of the time since a BX is closer to the ground, with the smaller tires. If you buy attachment's look for one's that come with 2 set,s of holes for lift arm pins, use the lower holes for your BX and you should be ok.Also like mentioned above PTo shaft lenght will need to be shorten,I had to cut 5 1/2 inches off each shaft on my Land pride 4ft rotary cutter but it works great. Also keep some weight up front to counter whats hanging out the back if it's over 300lb's for sure.

I have a BX 2200 and all the impliments that I have are Cat1, and they all fit, even the post hole digger with full size auger. People who say that you need Cat0 implements for the BX simply don't know what they are talking about, even if they are selling the tractors. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

The new 50 series has the 3PH redesigned to give more lift. My back blade lifts close to 6" higher.

Larry,

I have a BX24 and use a BushHog Razerback that is a 5 footer.

I use it to cut an old hay field that is around 7 acres and it does a great job.

You must consider that this is a relatively flat field using a light duty cutter to cut only grass/weeds.

It handles it great, but having the loader attached is a must.

I say depending on the cutting task to give it a try and downsize if necessary.
