Ok,
I bought my tractor while in AR/MO.. now am in IL, so my original dealer is too far away to maintain my tractor..
Reluctantly, I called the local dealer, asked for service and explained my situation with him citing all the part numbers for the upgraded items including the PIB for the new seat.
Seats are on order and should arrive in SEPT. and will cost me $25.00. Fine with me.
Asked about the fender issues and mine aren't broken yet but I want the upgrade... He said yep we know all about it but they can't just replace them, they have to wait till the customer requests it.. He said it was kinda wierd, but nonetheless he would order all the parts and call me when they arrive so I can get them installed.
Then, I ask about the guage/tach, knobs and other items that were mentioned on here and he said they would take care of everything when I bring it in for the fenders....Including the low oil level in the frt axle that I never filled up..
He also knew about the abrupt stop, but says Kubota designed it that way, no fixey... So providing they follow through with everthing he said, I'll be one big happy camper when we are done...
I asked if the fenders have to be cracked to repair and he said NO, if so, we'll crack them and he understood why I would want the upgrade done regardless if they are cracked or not....
Call your dealer and try the same thing... Looks like it's working for my non-original dealer....
