I have a Honda HRX217HYA and walk-behind trimmer.
I'm on less than an acre. The Honda and Husqvarna are working out well for me.
There is a ~17.5 acre undeveloped open-space behind me. Grass, small trash trees. The corporate owners have had it mowed in the past, but it nothing has been done with it for a few years. It's become a dumping ground.
I'm toying with the idea of purchasing an RCR1542 rotary cutter to knock it down in hopes of detering dumping.
My thinking is, if looks like it's maintained -- and clearly doesn't belong to the city -- maybe folks won't be so inclined to dump crap in what is basically my backyard.
Thoughts?
