BX2380 Hyd. Lockout Spring?

Does anyone know if the hydraulic lockout on a 2380 has a spring on it? Mine does not, but looks like it has a tab with a hole in it (underneath the rear fender) where one might go. My lockout is difficult to operate.

I have a bx.. And I trying to understand your post. The only lockout on mine is just under the fel stick. It's just a simple lever to go left or right. But I'm not sure what lockout you refer to under the fender? Theonly think i can think of is the hydro control flow for 3 pt or mmm and it's not a lockout. No spring on that.
