Snow BX23S Quick Hitch Requires Removal of Grill Guard

Not earth-shattering news but it may help save time for other noobs out there. I wrestled with putting the quick hitch (2810) on my BX23S this week until I figured out the grill guard (held on w/4 bolts) needs to come off the tractor before you can attach it to the tractor. The hitch makes quick work of attaching the plow blade though.

I couldn’t find that little nugget of info anywhere in the operator manual. I guess Kubota assumes it’s obvious but what do I know? Lesson learned.

Great tip!

Since I only use the quick hitch with the plow, I have to remove/install the gaurd every time I want to use the plow.

Doesn't take a ton of time, but defeats the "quick" portion of the quick hitch descriptor.
