BX2660 is here

Well, finally got it today and it is a fine machine. Did my first lawn cut with the 60" deck, it really gives a very nice cut and I am impressed. Still not sure about throwing the grass and might have to eventually invest in a mulching kit. But for now, my grass was about 7 inches high and thick and did a really nice job at 2.75 hight.

There were 3 tractor on the trailer, 1 is next going to NH and 2 to Buffalo. If I kept my mouth shut, I might have ended with a very nice B2630 with BH and Grapple. Someone is going to be very happy with that tractor. :thumbsup:

NICE ! By the way what brand is your rear blade ? does it have the tilt feature ?

It's a Taylorway blade, it is a 5 foot about 200lbs. It does not have the tilt but it is reverable and can swing it into about 6 different positions. I used it on my BX1860 this past winter and it really did a good job. The only draw back is that it is a Cat 0/Cat 1 and does not fit on my Quick Hitch and i have to add adapters to it to extend it.

You know that B2630 almost got delivered to me. Donnie pulled it out and then started pulling the lift up. So, I told him that I got the BX2660 and not that one. :licking:

I just came in from a long day and the Chipper runs very nicely with the extra 6hp on the PTO. No bogging down on thicker pieces and just eats them up. However, heavy hardwood 4" and up are still a challenge but that was expected but much more improved compared to the BX1860.
