Last night I was backing my tractor up a slight incline with about 6" of snow and tractor stalled a few times. One time it would not engage the starter, I waited a few minutes and it startred up. It almost stalled twice more until I let off the pedal. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this?

It could be that your body weight shifted to the front edge of the seat just enough to make the operator presence switch loose connection in reverse.

Happened exactly like that with my new BX2660 and made me nervous when the starter did not work. As previously stated... I was not fully seated in the seat and the safety switch shut er down and would not let er start.
Don't tell anybody but I think my seat switch is going to be disconnected.

I had the same problem with my 2350. I took off one of the flat plate springs and it took care of the problem. The safety switches still work properly to.

I sit back further in the new seat but when I had the old seat it would happen every time I was on a hill!;)
