Hi all!

Just wondering if anybody has fit a Woods BH6000 to a BX2660 yet?

I am thinking of doing this and would appreciate any advise/comments on this combination.

Should work fine. The lower height of the ROPS is about the only concern that I've ever heard expressed on pairing the Woods backhoe with any of the BX series. You will lose your slick seat too....... I think.

I've been wondering the same thing. Surely Woods has templated a sub-frame for this?? Except for the cost, seems this would be a slightly superior combo to a BX25. Hope somebody will give a positive report.

No problem with seat as Woods have come up with a solution to keep slick seat and still have it rotatable :)

I would have bought a BX25 but (frankly) stupid Kubota sales rep at head office here in Australia stated that Kubota would not be selling this tractor here, he even went as far as to say postings on this forum late last year must have been a mockup!

So off I went and upgraded from BX1830 to BX2660 for the extra horsepower.
Really would love to have BH so now going done the Woods road. Cost to have exported from USA to Australia is on par with price difference between BX2660 and BX25 here, except now I would loose out as trading in again only 6 months after getting BX2660. Besides figured that little bit extra HP would be benifical anyway.

Long post wow sorry, still appreciate any feedback re Woods BH, also thinking of getting it with mechanical thumb :D

Hi Newbury,

Still thinking about trading BX2660 for BX25 as there is currently a very big tax incentive in Australia for investment in new plant and equipment. Only hesitation is lose of that little extra HP the 2660 has over 25. Also use BX for a lot of PTO driven attachments and wow do I love the difference from my old 1830.

Have been told however that BX25 needs all sorts of extra bits to fit MMM whihc I find quite strange also now have to pay for 3 point hitch (seems they made it more for the BH than anything else) so still keen on Woods BH.

Do you run MMM as well? if so does Woods BH subframe create any problems fitting it?

What would you do in my situation if it weere going to cost you the same to go either way? (except no thumb with BX25)

Dave
