I was told by my dealer that they are contracted out but he couldn't tell me by whom. (Or didn't want to) I have been trying to purchase one for 4 months. I looked at a few others but decided to go with the Kubota blade because it was a bit cheaper in price.
Supposedly my dealer is expecting some by the 22nd of this month /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif I won't hold my breath.
I don't know who manufactures the bx2763, I had to wait 4-5 months to get my blade in the fall of 02. This blade is worth the wait, you will love the down presure for scraping the icy stuff. Second winter on my blade with no trouble at all.
Oh I love it alright. Just wish I had had one long before this /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
It makes quick work of the snow and it is a very well designed piece of equipment. Now I am getting the urge for a set of those axles /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The price I got for the blade without the 4 way valve was $1500.00.
Kasco makes one with the valve and everything for $1960.00.
And Kasco also makes one that mounts to the loader arms and it is $1465.00. I had posted before in another thread that it was like $1638.00 but Kasco called me and corrected that price. You also have the option on the loader mounted blade to just have the manual angle and that drops it to $1200.00...
The guy I spoke with at Kasco said they make alot of the John Deere blades. Just FYI /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Paul,
I did not have a valve on mine at all ,just the mmm.
Mine with the stand ,four-way valve and quick hitch subframe, squeegee, skid shoes with installation of everything including 6% tax came to a grand total of $2450.00.
This was the best price I got from 3 Dealers, One was about $400.00 higher than what I paid(they wanted list price on everything)
Steep, but it only hurt for a short while /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
