1/2 hour in, it looks like the folks at John Deere have a better grip on things with their second attemt at live TV! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This one doesn't seem so haphazard. The reps seem to be a little better prepared. And I'd just about bet the questions are being screened. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I just walked in from the shop. We're painting a tractor tonight and tomorrow. (Deere 4020) I've got green paint all over my hands. I'm feeling right at home watching all the commercials! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The part I saw, I wouldn't say they did any better. I was glad when the show was over. It seems all they did was refer people back to the dealers again. I caught the show about half way through. I had forgot about it. I was also doing other things while trying to listen to it. All the questions I heard, the reps referred them to the dealer or told them to read the manual.

I think they would do a lot better if they did more video clips of operating various tractors rather than taking phone calls. Almost all of the calls were answered with "Talk to your local dealer".

I thought this show was going to be much more specific and helpful than it turned out to be. The two reps seemed to get that "deere in the headlights" blank look when they were asked technical questions. LOL. Having video of controls, safety examples, etc. would have been FAR better than "check with your dealer". I was disappointed, to say the least.
