c_50 loader

I have a century c-50 loader it is on a new to me tractor when lowering the loader it will not pick up the front of the tractor but if i roll the bucket it lifts the tractor no problem there is a few inches of ram left when lowering the main cyl of the loader.

Hydrolic pressure is fine coming out of the loader valve body. switched hoses so raise and lower were in the bucket roll outlets did not help. I take it the seals are bad in the cylinders.

where is the best place to find them? or is there any other things that i should look at?

would there be a problem switching to the C-50hd cylinders? 55mm instead of 50mm?

An easy way to check your cylinders is to remove your bottom hoses on the lift cylinders and direct any fluid into buckets,
then power it down that will let you know if a cylinder is bypassing fluid and which one.

My Branson's loader won't lift the front of the tractor unless I roll the bucket first. Or the bucket is on a hill. The loader bucket just does not go down that far below ground level.

This surprises me, as we have the same tractor (well, close enough, mine's cabbed, but...).

Do you have the BL-25R loader on yours?

My BL-25R loader will pick the front tires up off the ground. Not very far, but far enough to see daylight and get all the weight off the front end.

OP,

Try setting your bucket on top of something sturdy, like a round bale of hay, or similar, and try to lift the front end off the ground then. That will tell you if it's a loader travel distance issue, or a hydraulic pressure issue.
