Price Check Cab price for 5220?

Can anone give me an idea what a cab might cost for a JD 5220 and a good name brand to get? It would need to have heat, hard cab, windshield wiper ( wipers) and radio. Is it possible to get one with AC? I understand the only way to get the AC was to factory order that with the cab through the dealer, before it was bought?

No idea on price, but here are a few choices:

Laurin
Curtis
Jodale Perry

Curtis will be the cheapest of the bunch in price and quality, and I think they are running at $3,500+ the last time I looked.

Jodale-Perry looks to make a better product, and they have a build your cab feature on the web site with pricing. Probably $5,000 and up.

Laurin looks to make a good product; but their web site is a bit convoluted and some of the French didn't translate to English well. Laurin is out of Quebec, Canada.

If I had to choose a cab without worrying about price, I'd go with Jodale-Perry or Laurin based solely on what I see on their web sites.

In any case, I'd suggest checking if any of these manufacturers have a local dealer that with luck might have a sample on the lot for you to look at. After all, any of these cabs is going to be a lot of money.

I have a jodale perry cab, and it is excellent, although expensive.

I have a Laurin Eclipse cab for on my Deere 110 tlb and am very satisfied with it. Deere doesn't make a cab version so far, that made it make sense to get the aftermarket cab. For a 5220 though I would think you might be better off long term to get a cab tractor straight up.

From my searching Laurin has a model for your tractor but JoDale Perry does not.
