A round bale fell out of the stack glancing the cab. Apart from taking out the lights & bending the exhaust it cracked the cab roof. I was surprised to see how thin it is and even more to hear how much it costs. Does anyone know what type of plastic these roofs are made of so that I can repair it by welding or gluing? I suspect ABS but not sure.

I don't know about New Holland, but my brother fixed the top on my Kubota using a patch and something like this: http://www.tapplastics.com/product/repair_products/adhesives_glues_sealants/plastic_welder/278
It was pretty bad, so he used fine metal wires to stitch then added the repair, it's held up really well; beat the $1100 for a new top.
