thinking of getting a cab for a b7800 only really looked at the Curtis cabs. Any other brands to consider? pros/cons. id probably want to take it off in the summer months so simple on/off would be a consideration. thanks

I have a curtis cab and heater on a L4310. It has plastic doors that can easily be removed. I installed an electric fan to deal with fogging in winter and flies in the summer and upgraded the back window to glass. (I use a rear blade to plow snow and wanted a clear view).

It would be too problematic to remove a Curtis cab.

I don't think they a direct competitor in that price range.

I'm gonna say Curtis and Simms will be the two 'affordable' cabs. I like the Curtis, and they are semi-local, being made in Mass.
